Ingredients

  • 3 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 2 tbsps Worcestershire sauce (check for sugar-free)
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar-free ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese,
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease if necessary.
  • Stir in the chopped onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, mustard powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in the softened cream cheese until melted and combined.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the sugar-free ketchup and mayonnaise. Spread this mixture over the beef.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream. Pour this mixture evenly over the beef.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
  • Transfer to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving. Top with diced pickles and shredded lettuce, if using.

Notes

Serve as-is or with a side of lettuce leaves for a deconstructed burger experience.
