These Keto ground beef tacos use mozzarella for the zero-carb shell and traditional taco toppings to make a low-carb and delicious easy dinner.

Ingredients
  

For The Cheese Shells

  • 1 1/3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese about 1/3 cup per shell

For The Filling

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp low-carb taco seasoning
  • Salt to taste if needed

Optional Keto Toppings

  • Shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced onion small amount for keto
  • Sliced avocado
  • Sour cream
  • Sugar-free salsa

Instructions
 

  • Line a microwave-safe plate with parchment paper.
  • Spread 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella into a circle about 6 inches in diameter.
  • Microwave for 1 minute 15 seconds, or until bubbly and golden on the edges.
  • Quickly remove the parchment with the cheese circle and drape it over a rounded spoon handle to form a taco shape. Let cool and harden, about 2 minutes.
  • Repeat with remaining cheese.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Stir in low-carb taco seasoning and cook for another 1–2 minutes. Set aside.
  • Fill each cooled cheese shell with a scoop of the seasoned meat mixture.
  • Top with shredded cheese and keto-friendly toppings of your choice.

Notes

Serve immediately while shells remain crisp.
