I’m Meredith, the writer behind House on Austin. My husband Daniel and I live in Georgia where we’re raising our four children, fixing up our old tri-level home, and making lots of yummy food. I’m so happy to share our projects and adventures with you!

About House On Austin
In 2022, we made a cross-country move from Washington state to Georgia and bought a fixer upper split-level home on almost 7 acres.
For the past few years, we have been updating our home, completing outdoor projects like building an above ground pool deck and creating a sauna cabin, cooking and grilling up lots of great food, and exploring the south.
Along the way, we’ve learned how to DIY just about everything around our old house, make home renovations on a budget, and how to create recipes that the whole family will enjoy.
And we’re doing all this while homeschooling our four young children and working full time!
