The bathrooms in our current home are all small, especially our en-suite bathroom- its almost child size! To keep these spaces from feeling cramped or cluttered, we’ve found some smart organizing solutions that have been invaluable.

01. Under the Sink Storage

Under Sink Organizer

This area is often under-utilized because of the awkward nature of the plumbing and limited space in under sink cabinets.

Use narrow, sliding and stackable storage organizers in this area for cleaning supplies and extra toiletries.

02. Over The Door Towel Storage

When under cabinet space is limited, using over the door towel hangers has been absolutely necessary.

We bought one recently for our girls’ tiny bathroom (pictured above); it holds five towels with a shelf. I found it really easy to put together.

Not only does it utilize vertical space that would otherwise go unused, it also keeps the towels neater than they usually stay in a kids’ bathroom.

03. Stackable Bins

Stackable Bins from Hobby Lobby

These stackable bins are a must for small under-cabinet storage! They allow you to keep a LOT of products in one cabinet and not waste space.

Hobby Lobby is a great place to find these organizers in all shapes and sizes, and they usually have good sales on their organizers every few weeks or so.

04. Floating Shelves

When floor and cabinet space is limited, its always smart to go vertical. Add shelves above the toilet, behind the door, or next to the shower.

Floating shelves are a great options because they don’t take up much space but provide plenty of room to store toiletries, towels, and decor items.

05. Outlet Shelf

If you have a small bathroom, you know how valuable counter space is! This outlet shelf is possibly my favorite of our small bathroom organization tips and ideas, as it solves an issue that comes with limited counter space.

We tend to charge our phones and other devices on the bathroom counter, but that space is really limited in our bathroom. This little small bathroom organization hack works great for getting charging items off the counter, like a smart watch, a hair tool, or a phone.

06. Magnetic Strips

Magnetic strips are a clever way to store small metal items like bobby pins, tweezers, and nail clippers.

Stick one inside a cabinet door or along the side of your vanity for easy access to these small but essential items.

07. Tiered Storage

I’m guilty of having a lot of things out on our counters, despite how small the space is. I just like to have easy access to items I use daily!

This tiered shelf allows us to keep a lot of frequently used items out and available, but takes up way less space! I love this tiered shelf- it’s made a huge difference in creating a more clutter-free countertop.

08. Drawer Organizer Trays

Small items like makeup, razors, and grooming tools can easily turn your bathroom drawers into a chaotic mess.

Drawer dividers or small baskets can help keep these items separated and easy to find. If you have deep drawers, use stackable organizers to maximize vertical space within the drawer.

09. Slim Floor Shelf

Slim Floor Shelf From Pop Shelf

A slim floor shelf is perfect for small spaces. Tuck it between the toilet and sink or beside the shower for storing towels, extra soap and bath products.

You can find these with or without wheels depending on if you need to move it often or not! I picked this one up at my local Pop Shelf.

10. Shower Caddy

A shower caddy is essential for keeping your bathtub or shower area clutter-free. Opt for one that is open and hangs over the shower head or attaches to the wall.

It will keep your shampoos, body washes, and other essentials organized, reducing clutter in the shower and making cleaning easier!

11. Shower Bench

For small showers, having a shower bench not only helps when you need to sit in the shower or need a place to set your foot when shaving your legs, but it can also be great storage.

We have this one in our girls’ bathroom where there are no shelves.

12. Toilet Paper Holder With Storage

A toilet paper holder with storage is a great way to keep essentials handy.

I have one of these in our guest bathroom so that guests don’t need to rummage around to find extras, and it functions as somewhere to keep wipes.

13. Hooks and More Hooks

Can you have too many hooks in a small bathroom? Command hooks work great for single towel hooks, or wall mount rack for multiple hooks.

14. Hair Tool Organizer

Last but not least- utilize your cabinet door to hold your hair tools with an easy over-the-door organizer. This frees up some cabinet space and makes these frequently used items easy to grab.
