My Favorite Plastic Storage Boxes + Labels
I’ve gotten quite a few questions about the plastic storage boxes I used in this post about our garage closet makeover, so I decided to share all the details in a separate post!

Plastic Storage Boxes and Labels
I’ve used these bins in our garage closet as well as our entryway closet that got a makeover recently (you can read all about that here.)
The labels are super easy to make online and I love all the options available.
Where To Get The Storage Boxes
These particular bins are the Mainstay Plastic Utility bins from Walmart- they’re under $6 each (in my area, anyway!) and SO versatile- you can find them here.

If you’d rather order something similar off of Amazon, here are a couple really similar options:
These Sterilite bins are a little more narrow but still have the same great shape and are clear, without a lid:

These storage containers come in a pack of two and are a few dollars more than the Mainstay option, but are really sturdy:

How To Create The Labels
I use Avery labels for so many things- labeling storage bins, addressing Christmas cards, return address labels- its so easy to do online.
For my plastic storage bins, I bought the Avery Shipping Labels (3-1/3 ” x 4″) and used template 12564.
The website is easy to use and printing out the labels is simple.
I’ve saved all of my projects so that I can return to them to make edits or create new labels. Easy peasy!
