Blackstone Keto Pizza “Meatza” Recipe

This recipe makes two 11-12-inch round pizzas—perfect for a crowd or for leftovers that reheat beautifully.

Ingredients (Makes 2 Large Pizzas)

For the Meatza Crust:

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp Kinder’s “The Blend” seasoning (or to taste)
  • “Slap Ya Mama” Cajun seasoning (light sprinkle on top)
  • Parchment paper (for shaping)

Toppings (Customize to taste):

  • 1/2 cup low- or no-sugar pizza sauce (such as Prego, Rao’s or Yo Mama’s)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4–6 slices salami or pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage
  • 1/2 cup cooked and chopped bacon

Instructions: How to Make Keto Pizza on the Blackstone

Make the Meat Crust
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, breakfast sausage, eggs, and Kinder’s seasoning until combined. Divide the mixture in half.

Preheat the Blackstone
Heat your Blackstone griddle on medium-high. Lightly oil the surface with avocado oil or beef tallow to prevent sticking.

Place each half on a piece of parchment paper. Use your hands or a rolling pin to form 15–16-inch circles (they will shrink slightly during cooking). Keep them about 1/3 inch thick.
Sprinkle a light dusting of Slap Ya Mama seasoning on top of each crust.

Cook the Crusts
Carefully flip each meat crust onto the hot Blackstone (parchment side up).

Peel off the parchment and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned on one side. Flip and cook another 3–5 minutes on the other side until fully cooked through and firm.

Tip: Use two spatulas for easier flipping.

Cook Toppings Separately
While the crusts are cooking, use another section of your Blackstone to brown the sausage, bacon, and any other toppings that need to be pre-cooked. This step adds flavor and speeds things up.

Assemble Your Keto Pizza
Spoon about 1/4 cup of pizza sauce onto each cooked meat crust.

Spread evenly. Sprinkle mozzarella over the sauce, then pile on your toppings—bacon, sausage, salami, or your favorite combination.

Melt the Cheese
Use Blackstone dome covers (or tent foil loosely over the top) to trap the heat and melt the cheese—about 2–4 minutes.

Tip: We love this Blackstone accessory kit that comes with dome covers and several cooking utensils.

Remove from heat, slice, and serve.

Tips for the Best Keto Pizza on a Blackstone

    • Use parchment paper to shape and flip the crusts more easily.
    • Don’t go too thick—thinner crusts cook evenly and hold toppings better.
    • Drain excess fat as the crust cooks to avoid soggy edges.
    • Dome covers help melt the cheese without drying out the crust.
